When a municipality makes the commitment to support the development of a Tiny Town, they begin the process of increasing the available ;affordable housing options. This can be an incentive to new, young homeowners, to consider their city as their new home.
We are designing Tiny Towns to initially accommodate 120 tiny homeowners and our design is modular allowing us to build new neighborhoods (referred to as Pods) as the need arises. Each Pod includes space for 12 tiny homes, parking, gardens, solar collection, storage and is connected to the Tiny Town grid for shared resources.
While someowners may never purchase a traditional home, many will transition into them based on their changing lifestyle. As people become established and can afford a more spacious home, or begin raising a family that requires more space, traditional homes will be purchased. These new homeowners will settle in the cities where they have become established. Tiny Towns encourage the movement of citizens into, out of and between towns to site their indibvidual needs.
